“Success is a habit you embrace on a daily basis and the earlier you get into that mindset, the sooner you will be able to give birth to possibilities you might not be able to imagine” Les Brown

I was inspired by this quote from Les Brown this week and wanted to share it with everyone who is working on a dream or goal. He also recommends the following ten things to keep your dream alive below:

1. Be thankful
2. Be thoughtful
3. Be active
4. Be connected
5. Be patient
6. Be persistent
7. Be positive
8. Be creative
9. Be consumed
10. Be faithful

I think the fuel for this dream or goal is the passion for achieving it or the why it’s important to you. Always keep your dream alive and never ever give up.

I watched a video recently of Tony Robbins and he talked about the three decisions we are making every moment of our lives. It’s all based on the following three questions below:

1. What am I going to focus on?
2. What does it mean?
3. What am I going to do?

I recently watched a three-minute video on TED about “What Leads to Success?” by Richard St. John. He has spent over the last ten years studying successful people and he came up with the following 8 things people need to succeed:

Passion — Do it for love not money
Work Hard
Being good at something
Focus on one thing
Push yourself
Serve — Serve others something of value
Ideas
Persistence

I think most people can have success in their life as long as they consistently apply these qualities over and over until they reach their goals.

” Five years from now you will be pretty much the same as you are today except for two things, the books you read and the people you get close to” Charles Jones

I thought this was a pretty interesting quote and it made me think about the last five years of my life.
What great books have I read that have made a great impact on my life to date? I have read all kinds of books over the years, but one book stands out that has helped me the most, “The Bible”. It is a very powerful and amazing book if you read and practice the lessons. I challenge everyone to read a page a day and over the next 30 – 90 days, let me know how your life has changed in any special way. I know mine has over the years.
